The ETDP SETA joins millions of South Africans who have put aside their time to observe a moment for our liberation icon Nelson Mandela.

The Chief Executive Officer of ETDP SETA Ms Nombulelo Nxesi said Nelson Mandela is one of the best products that has come out of South Africa and that all South Africans should be proud to be associated with a man of honour and dignity such as Nelson Mandela.

“One of our former president’s first interests is to ensure children receive the best care and education opportunities. As the ETDP SETA we are honoured to be an agency that is the conduit of skills development and in honour of Madiba, we strive to enhance the supply of best of skills needed in the education, training and development (ETD) sector.”

She pointed out that Madiba is a source of pride not only to South Africa but the world at large.

“Nelson Mandela is one of the reasons for us to be a proud nation. His charisma, leadership and wisdom made South Africa what it is today, a beacon of hope and prosperity for all South Africans and all who live in it,” she said.
Nxesi also took the opportunity to wish Madiba a happy birthday and good health.

“We salute Madiba, may his legacy live on! We are fortunate as a nation to have shared his wisdom. His humility and sacrifices continue to shine through the number of initiatives that will forever come in his honour May the Almighty give him good health,” she said.
