The ETDP SETA is looking for a registered company to supply purified water and dispenser coolers for ETDP SETA’s Head Office and its nine (9) provincial offices for the period 1 April 2018 to 30 June 2020 (27 months).

The purpose of the RFQ is to appoint a service provider to render cleaning services at the seven (7) ETDP SETA Provincial Offices. The ETDP SETA is looking for registered and compliant companies to provide cleaning services for the seven (7) ETDP SETA Provincial Offices as from 1st April 2018 to 30 June 2020.

The purpose of this RFQ is to appoint a service provider for ETDP SETA’s three (3) provincial offices; Limpopo Provincial Office, North West Office and Northern Cape Office. The ETDP SETA is looking for registered companies to supply, install and maintain the hygiene bathroom services for ETDP SETA’s provincial offices as from 1st April 2018 to 30 June 2020.

The ETDP SETA is looking for accredited training providers to facilitate the implementation of a Skills Programme: School Management and Leadership for 90 school managers (principals, deputy principals and HODs) for the 2017/18 financial year.

The training will be conducted in three provinces, namely Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Kwa-Zulu Natal. In your proposal, you need to clearly indicate the province/s you are bidding for. The breakdown per province is as follows;

1. 30 learners in Limpopo
2. 30 learners in Mpumalanga
3. 30 learners in Kwa-Zulu Natal

The ETDP SETA is looking for accredited training providers to facilitate the implementation of a Skills Programme: Records Management for 54 learners for the 2017/18 financial year.

The training will be conducted in the Gauteng province.

The ETDP SETA is looking for a training provider to offer training to the Skills Advisors, on the following:

The training should deal with:

  • Delegates to have knowledge in the areas of project planning, executing the project, monitoring
  • and control.
  • Project initiation, project close off and professional responsibility.
  • Practical project management skills.

In accordance with the Skills Development Act, 2008 section 10 (a) the Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) are required to develop Sector Skills Plans (SSPs) within the framework of the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS). The SETAs are mandated to promote skills development in their designated sectors. This process involves sector planning research as well as skills development support to its constituent members. In this regard, the Education Training and Development Practices (ETDP) SETA is intending to support Research Organizations, as constituent members, in order to increase research capacity within the ETD sector.

Based on the above, the ETDP SETA would like to contract a Service Provider to provide training for employees of research organizations which are constituent members of the ETDP SETA. The appointed Service Provider will provide Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) Training. The Service Provider will be allocated 6 employees to be trained within a maximum period of 3 months including contact sessions and any form of assessment.

The Head office if currently in need of the development of a database (Ms Projects) of all projects that are currently active and services of a consultant are sought. Currently there are projects on the vendor system that are still open even though they are two years or more and these projects have funds still allocated to them. This situation tends to overstate the amount of commitments on projects.

The Kwazulu Natal office of the EDTP SETA is currently experiencing challenges as regards the management of and administration of projects. Particularly the projects that have been implemented in the previous years.

The ETDP SETA is looking for an Information System Consultant who will perform the MIS audit and scoping exercise for the acquisition of an integrated and web based Management Information System (MIS) that is able to manage the administrative activities of the organisation. The system should comprehensively cover all the operational requirements that pertain to the fulfilment of the ETDP SETA skills development mandate.

As part of its effort to improve the quality of its documents and to produce such documents within stipulated time frames, the ETDP SETA would like to appoint a service provider that will layout, design, proof-reading, editing and print its 2012/13 Annual Report. This publication will be used as strategic reporting tool to oversight institutions (i.e. Parliament, Auditor-General, and Department of Higher Education & Training). It is envisaged that through the Annual Report, the ETDP SETA would be able to display the level of professionalism and promote its image.

-Assist with the development of a Remuneration strategy
-Propose a method of Salary progression within the Bands
-Conduct benchmarking of the SETA’s salary scales against the DPSA scales and pay structure
-Do alignment of the generic jobs to the Executives
-Evaluate the levels and correlate the Senior levels
-Redesign the pay scales.
-Assist prepare a proposal for submission to the HR Committee of the Board

The overall objective of the project is to analyse the responses from the Stakeholder Survey which solicited a total of 330 questionnaires. The service provider will analyse the ETDP SETAs Stakeholder Survey data and submit the final report with findings and recommendations. It is envisaged that the service provider will measure the level of satisfaction of the ETDP SETA stakeholders (i.e. employers, training providers, service providers etc) and recommend to the ETDP SETA ways to improve stakeholder service delivery.

The scope of services is to conduct research for the annual update of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Sector Skills Plan (SSP) for the 2014/15 period. The main focus of the SSP Update is analysing and gathering skills demand and supply data from active and participating ETDP SETA constituent levy payers and non-levy payers as well as determining skills development training needs and interventions for the School Governing Bodies Constituency.

The scope of services is to conduct research for the annual update of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Sector Skills Plan (SSP) for the 2014/15 period. The main focus of the SSP Update is analysing and gathering skills demand and supply data from active and participating ETDP SETA constituent levy payers and non-levy payers as well as determining skills development training needs and interventions for the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) Constituency.

The scope of services is to conduct research for the annual update of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Sector Skills Plan (SSP) for the 2014/15 period. The main focus of the SSP Update is analysing and gathering skills demand and supply data from active and participating ETDP SETA constituent levy payers and non-levy payers as well as determining skills development training needs and interventions for the Libraries and Archival Constituency.

The scope of services is to conduct research for the annual update of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Sector Skills Plan (SSP) for the 2014/15 period. The main focus of the SSP Update is analysing and gathering skills demand and supply data from active and participating ETDP SETA constituent levy payers and non-levy payers as well as determining skills development training needs and interventions for the Private Higher Education and Training Constituency.
