ETDP SETA commemorates the youth whose lives were taken in the Soweto Uprising
Youth Day is honoured in South Africa as a day of remembrance of the many youth tragically killed on June 16 1976 by the apartheid government for protesting against the imposition of Afrikaans as the medium of instruction.
The ETDP SETA has over the years ensured that it provides skills programmes aimed at uplifting the youth in order to become economically active and active members of the job force. Our programmes are for both employed and the unemployed.
Let us work together to create more opportunities and platforms which will enable our youth to become job creators in order to improve the living conditions of our people.
Let us celebrate youth month by commemorating the youth whose lives were taken.
