Constituency Support
In an effort to respond to the ETD (Education, Training and Development) Sector’s skills needs, the ETDP SETA, in its 2005-2010 Delivery Strategy, focused on Constituencies’ in implementing relevant learning programmes. The strategy was actualised with the business decision to establish a unit focusing solely on the organisations’ Constituencies.

Launch of the ETDP SETA ISOEs

The establishment of ISOEs (Institutions for Excellence) is one of the NSDS (National Skills Development Strategy) targets the ETDP SETA has to deliver towards skills development.

The purpose of this target is to identify, select and approve centres that will offer training and learning opportunities within an occupational area in advancement of a culture of excellence in skills development and life long learning.
